The Community Center is at the heart of the Park project and serves to bring Magalians together. Its purpose is to provide a gathering place for all members of the community & visitors from all around for everything from information meetings to fundraisers and special holiday-themed events, health and wellness clinics, and rentals for classes, groups and private parties. The main building affords over 2000 square feet of space which can accommodate up to 120 persons in an assembly setting, with ADA restrooms and a utility sink area. The Center was recently upgraded with new security lighting at night, and two handicap accessible parking stalls next to the building. Due to Covid-19 we have placed restrictions on the number of people who may utilize the facility; please call us if you are interested in renting space.
A nicely-shaded patio area between the Community Center and Izzy’s restaurant is available for use, as is our main parking lot on the corner of South Park and Andover Drive. Again, health and safety guidelines that are in force at the time will dictate the type of functions that can take place and numbers of participants.
We will be restoring the green space next to the disc golf pro-shop with new lawn & irrigation as a picnic and recreation area.
